Significance

Organised by the Ladakh tourism department to preserve and showcase indigenous arts, sports and spiritual traditions shaped by centuries of Tibetan Buddhist influence.

A two-week cultural festival across Leh — polo matches on the world's highest polo ground, archery contests, traditional dances, and a closing mask dance at Shey Monastery.
